BRIDGEWATER Charles Koroly died Nov. 18 at Harborside Healthcare-Woods Edge in Bridgewater. He was 80.
Born and raised in Freeland, Pa., he moved to Bridgewater in 1967.
Mr. Koroly worked as a pipe fitter for John’s Manville Corporation for over 40 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 2290 in Manville.
He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Manville and a member of its Holy Name Society.
His wife, Stella M. (Yablonski) Koroly died in 1992; two sisters, Anna Lozito and Mary Cheesman; and two brothers, Michael and John Koroly are deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Ann Koroly, with whom he lived in Bridgewater; two sisters, Helen Barna and Agnes Koroly both of Freeland, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted Nov. 21 from Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Disposition was private.
