Police charged a Trenton woman with hindering her own apprehension after a routine traffic stop on Route 206 near Heiser Avenue, shortly after 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, officers stopped 28-year-old Lisa Green for having a cracked window. Police said Ms. Green couldn’t provide a driver’s license, gave officers a false name and said she was 29 years old, despite telling officers she was born in 1982. During further questioning, police said, Ms. Green admitted to her identity and said she lied because she is not a licensed driver. She was charged and released on her own recognizance, pending a court date.
Police are seeking information about the theft of sunglasses from a car that had been towed to a township garage on Nov. 23.
According to police, three pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses, worth an estimated $405, were taken from a car parked at the Haines auto service center on Route 206 around 4:30 p.m. Police said there were no signs of forced entry, but ask anyone with information to call them at (609) 298-4300.
Police charged a 37-year-old Fieldsboro man with shoplifting at 11:28 a.m. Nov. 21.
According to police, officers were sent to the Acme supermarket on Route 130 to check for a man who had reportedly walked out with $10 worth of fish and candy. Police said officers tracked David Pickett of West Front Street to the intersection of Chestnut and Reeder streets in Bordentown City. He was charged and released on his own recognizance pending a court date.
Police charged a North Jersey man with hindering his own apprehension after responding to a traffic accident around 2 p.m. Nov. 21.
According to police, officers collecting personal information from the accident found one of the passengers, 31-year-old Tahir Johnson of Irvington, had given them a false name. When Mr. Johnson revealed his true identity, police said, officers learned he was wanted on $1,100 worth of contempt of court warrants from Union County.
Mr. Johnson was charged and released after posting bail.
Officers are seeking information regarding the theft of a fireplace unit that was reported stolen from a house under construction in the Grande at Crystal Lake development on Nov. 21.
According to police, someone entered the house at night and took a gas fireplace unit waiting to be installed. Police said several workers and contractors have been in the building during its construction. The fireplace is estimated to be worth $835.

FLORENCE
Police charged Richard Vanhise, 38, of Sixth Avenue with contempt of court shortly after noon Nov. 26.
According to police, officers went to Mr. Vanhise’s residence to apprehend him in connection with a pair of township warrants. Police said he was taken without incident to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Police charged a Burlington man with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after a routine traffic stop on Route 130 on Nov. 25.
According to police, officers saw Timothy Bethea, 46, stop at a green light on Route 130 south at 1:25 a.m., and then drive away after the light turned red. At the stop, police said, officers smelled alcohol on Mr. Bethea’s breath. After failing sobriety tests, Mr. Bethea was charged and released on his own recognizance, pending court.
Police charged 60-year-old Henry Fauver Jr. with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after two minor collisions in the Florence Tollgate condos’ parking lot on Nov. 23.
According to police, officers responded to a call about a collision in the lot around 6 p.m. When officers arrived, police said, they found Mr. Fauver, who reportedly said that he had backed into a fence, knocking it loose from the sidewalk, and then pulled forward into a parked car.
While talking, police said, officers smelled alcohol on Mr. Fauver’s breath. After failing sobriety tests, Mr. Fauver was charged and released to a friend.
There was no estimate available of the damages.
Police on Nov. 22 charged a pair of brothers with burglary, theft and conspiracy in connection with a series of vehicular break-ins that took place in Roebling in October.
According to police, detectives traced the Oct. 23 incidents to James and Robert Robinson of Hornberger Avenue. Police said their investigation revealed that James, 26, stood watch while Robert, 24, burglarized the vehicles. Police said also that a witness had interrupted the brothers during one of the break-ins, causing them to run off.
According to police, the brothers eventually fled the area in a stolen Honda CRV, taken from McKay Drive. The brothers were arrested in their home without incident and taken to the Burlington County Jail, police said, each in lieu of $15,000 bail.
