Peace Train is on track for Saturday rally in Newark

A "Peace Train" will carry opponents of the Bush administration’s policies in Iraq from the Princeton area to Newark on Saturday for a march and rally.
The train will begin in Trenton and stop at the Princeton Junction at West Windsor station — where it will pick up rally participants boarding in Princeton — and continue on its way to Newark.
A kick-off rally is scheduled for the Dinky station on University Place in Princeton at 10:30 a.m. From there, participants may board the 11:13 a.m. train to Princeton Junction to catch the train to Newark.
Among the confirmed speakers at the Princeton pre-boarding rally are the Rev. Dr. George Hunsinger, professor at Princeton Theological Seminary; Sue Niederer, whose son was killed in Iraq; Dr. Parvaiz Malik, former president of the Islamic Society of Central New Jersey; three representatives of NJ Students for Peace, an affiliate of the Coalition for Peace Action with participants from five area high schools; and the Rev. Robert Moore, executive director of the Coalition for Peace Action.
After arriving at Newark Penn Station at 12:15, participants will join a march and rally beginning at 12:30 at Peter Francesca Park, immediately adjacent to the train station, followed at 1:15 p.m. by a march through Newark. A concluding rally is scheduled at Newark City Hall.
