Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad receives challenge grant

In recognition of the lifesaving partnership between Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad (PFARS) and Princeton HealthCare System, the PHCS Foundation is offering PFARS a challenge grant to "Ensure Success" in its 2005 fundraising drive.
To reach this year’s $200,000 fundraising target, PFARS needs to raise an additional $36,000 over the $164,000 it raised last year. The PHCS Foundation is offering a challenge grant, matching 1-to-1 any new or increased giving received by PFARS for this year, up to a total matching grant of $18,000.
Princeton residents can help in this effort by offering their financial support to the PFARS before Dec. 31. Residents will be receiving a solicitation mailing from PFARS shortly. They are urged to respond promptly and generously to support a critical public service.
PFARS has been providing service to Princeton residents since 1939, including response to 911 medical emergencies in Princeton Township and Borough, as well as response to automobile accidents with trapped occupants.
