Ann Morse Sabatino
Ann (Anny) Morse Sabatino, 49, of Pennington died at home on Friday.
Born and raised in Norwood, Mass. she attended Norwood High School and received a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts in 1978.
She served for 27 years as a flight attendant with United Airlines. She traveled with family to Africa, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and, in the course of her work, to virtually every other state in the Union. For several years she volunteered with other UAL co-workers at the Labor Day telethon for muscular dystrophy.
In 2003, she completed the Master Gardeners program, and thereafter donated many hours helping others in Mercer County with plant and insect queries. For the past two years, she co-chaired the Master Gardeners’ cultivation of the Butterfly Garden on Federal City Road in Lawrence. She and her family worshiped at St. James Church, Pennington.
Ms. Sabatino is survived her husband Jack; children PJ and Julia; her parents Edward P. Morse and Madeline Morse; four siblings Jeanne Daly, Jerry Morse, Kevin Morse and Kenneth Morse; seven nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be at St. James Catholic Church, 115 E Delaware Ave., Pennington, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Arrangements are under the directions of the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.

Sara Watson
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Harbourton Cemetery for Sara Watson, 85, of Salinas, Calif.
Born in Bridgeton, she had been a resident of Pennington for 46 years before moving in 1998 to Salinas, Calif., to live with her son.
Mrs. Watson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pennington.
Preceded in death by her husband, William Perry Watson II in 1997 and her son William Perry Watson III in 1998, she is survived by her son Edward "Ted" Watson of Salinas, Calif.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are by the Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington.
Mary Chris Burke
Mary Chris Burke, 51, of West Palm Beach, Fla., died Nov. 6.
Born in Louisville, Ky., she grew up in the Trenton/Princeton area of New Jersey.
She graduated from Ewing High School in 1972 and Mercer County Community College in 1978 with a certificate in mortuary science. She worked as a funeral director/embalmer for over 15 years with the Blackwell Memorial Home in Pennington, and also helped other funeral directors in the area.
Active with the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association for years, she graduated from Georgian Court College, Lakewood, in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. In 1996, after graduating in 1994 from the Helene Fuld School of Nursing in Trenton, she changed careers and worked in Trenton in the operating room at Helene Fuld Hospital. She continued in surgical nursing after moving to Santa Barbara, Calif.
Known as "Kiki" to family and close friends. Ms. Burke is survived by her mother, Agnes Agabiti Burke; two sisters, Mary Louise Lawrence and Nancy Burke Harvey, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five brothers Joseph F.X. III of Isla Vista, Calif., Bruce Matthew of Santa Barbara, Calif., Brian Mark of San Diego, Calif., Kevin Patrick of West Palm Beach, Fla., and John August of Hollywood, Calif.; friends, Gretchen Ostergren and Bill W.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
