MORRISVILLE, Pa. Adolph Edward Janssen died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton, after a long illness.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 1925, he moved to Hunterdon County and in 1975 became a United States citizen.
He held supervisory positions in color matching and color concentrates at Plastics Color Division of Crompton & Knowles Corp., Somerset, and American Thermoplastics Corp., Bound Brook, and was operations manager at Reichhold Chemicals Inc., Hackettstown.
His last assignment was plant manager for American Bank Stationery in Hicksville, N.Y.
On retiring in 1987, he and his wife of 23 years, Christine Tomlinson Janssen, moved to Morrisville.
A longtime Hunterdon Camera Club member, he held positions as president and vice president and gave how-to seminars. He specialized in macro photography of flowers and insects as well as travel, wildlife and underwater images.
His photographs were on magazine covers and featured in art exhibits.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two stepchildren with his late wife, Reva Manikas Janssen, James Manikas of Clemmons, N.C., and Onnolee Ahlbrandt of Boca Raton, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville. Burial followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Yardley, Pa.

WEST AMWELL James M. Cahill, 57, of West Amwell Township died Wednesday, Nov. 30, from cancer.
He was born in Jersey City and raised in Whitehouse Station. He lived in Pennington and Lambertville before moving to West Amwell.
Mr. Cahill served with the Army Infantry during the Vietnam War.
He owned and operated Jim Cahill Farrier Service for 25 years.
He was the son of the late Daniel Cahill.
Surviving are his mother, Alice Gilligan Cahill of Whitehouse; his wife, Leslie Childs Cahill; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Shawn and Brandy of Gainsville, Fla., and James Neal Cahill and Patrick Charles Cahill at home; two brothers, Daniel Cahill of Hampton and John Cahill of Browns Summit, N.C.; a sister, Linda Scuggs of Whitehouse; and a granddaughter, Peyton of Gainsville.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at St. James Catholic Church, Pennington. Burial followed in St. Magdalen’s Cemetery, Flemington.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. Jill Paton Casciegna, 69, of Doylestown died Friday, Nov. 25.
She was the daughter of the late John H. and Millicent F. Paton.
She attended Greenwich (Conn.) Country Day School and Miss Hall’s School in Pittsfield, Mass.
She graduated from Bradford (Mass.) Junior College and the Wood Tobe-Coburn School in New York City, where she studied fashion merchandising.
By the late 1950s, she was working for John Weitz as a stylist and merchandiser.
She became president and CEO in 1970 of the family firm, John Paton Inc., a food company that specializes in selling honey through its Golden Blossom brand name. She replaced a group of company executives who attempted a takeover of her family firm, which, at the time, was located in Rockefeller Center.
In 1977 she married Salvatore Casciegna, then a senior partner at Food Associates. The two worked in the food business for more than 30 years.
Ms. Casciegna expanded the product’s reach up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
In 1978, they decided to make their weekend hideaway in Bucks County, their permanent home and relocated the company’s headquarters from New York to a Federal style building in Doylestown.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jon and Wendy Paton of Lambertville; a stepdaughter and her husband, Carolyn and Steve Connell of Westbury, N.Y.; a stepson and his wife, Steven and Barbara Casciegna of Newtown, Pa; and her nephews, Dean Paton of San Francisco and Wesley Paton of New York City.
Funeral services will be private.

LOPACTONG TOWNSHIP, N.J. Marianne Bracco, 70, of Lopactong Township died Thursday, Dec. 1, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Born in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Jennie Casamassima Vecchio.
She had resided in Lopactong Township since 2001, having previously lived in Raritan Township and Three Bridges.
Mrs. Bracco was head of medical transcription for 10 years at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.
She then owned and operated Hunterdon Typing Service, Raritan Township, and also was owner and operator of Bracco’s Deli in Flemington from 1978 until retiring in 2001.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Anthony Bracco Sr.; two sons, Anthony Bracco Jr. of Three Bridges and Stephen Bracco of Bethlehem, Pa.; two daughters, Diane Quartel of Lopactong Township and Joanne Luster of West Amwell Township; a brother, Michael Vecchio of Three Bridges; two sisters, Rosemarie Frederiks of New Hope and Paula Sperling of Utica, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was private.
