Greenstein is honored by state PBA

The New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association — the state’s largest law-enforcement organization — recently awarded Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein (D-Plainsboro) with its 2005 Legislator of the Year award, citing her longstanding support of issues important to the law-enforcement community.
Ms. Greenstein is "a true friend of law enforcement in general and the New Jersey State PBA in particular," said Michael Madonna, PBA president.
The PBA presented Ms. Greenstein with the award on Nov. 19, during its annual Valor Awards banquet in Atlantic City.
"While I am proud to have received this recognition, I am even prouder of the relationships I have forged with the men and women of our state’s law-enforcement community," said Ms. Greenstein. "I applaud the members of the PBA for their tireless dedication and never-ending professionalism in keeping our communities safe. Nothing we in the Legislature can do will ever adequately thank the police personnel who put their lives in harm’s way on a daily basis."
The New Jersey State PBA represents more than 30,000 members.
