Lambertville

   Nicholas Durastanti, 57, of Lambertville was charged with drunken driving and aggravated assault on a police officer Dec. 8 at about 8 p.m.
   Police said they got a cellphone call from a motorist reporting an erratic drive near Route 179.
   When police arrived, they saw a truck swerve into the slow lane of traffic, forcing a motorist to stop to avoid being hit. The truck then veered into the opposing lane of traffic and was stopped near Swan Street, police said.
   Police said they found a pint bottle of vodka with only a few ounces left in it between the seats of the vehicle. They said Mr. Durastanti handed over a driver’s license and a photo Trenton fireman ID.
   Police said Mr. Durastanti had a blood alcohol level of more than three times the legal limit of .1.
   Police said at the station, Mr. Durastanti asked to have a cigarette and was told it was a non-smoking building. Police said he approached an officer with his fists clenched. While they were walking him toward a bench, he allegedly spun around and tried to hit the officer with his fist.
   Mr. Durastanti also was charged with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to keep right.
New Hope

   Dec. 5, police charged Brian Robison, 30, of New Hope with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of an incident a Riverstone Circle residence Oct. 14, police said.
   Dec. 5, police charged Jordan Cocyman, 18, of New Hope with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of an incident on West Bridge Street Oct. 18.
   Dec. 5 at 7:41 p.m., police charged Robert Schultz Jr., 39, of Flemington with retail theft after he allegedly stole merchandise valued at $18.50 from a South Main Street establishment.
   Dec. 11 at 8:41 a.m., an employee of a South Main Street establishment reported to police that, sometime overnight, someone had entered the building and stole several hundred dollars in cash.
Solebury

   Dec. 6, there was a break-in of one vehicle and items removed from two other vehicles that were not locked.
   Two of the vehicles were parked in a lot in Lumberville along Route 32. One vehicle had a large rock thrown through the window, and camera equipment and gloves were removed. The second car also had camera equipment taken.
   The total value of the items is about $500.
   The third vehicle also was parked along Route 32 in a lot near Phillips Mill. The vehicle was not locked at the time. Credit cards and silverware in a chest, CDs and clothing were taken. The value of the items taken is estimated at $1,200.
   Police do not know if the three thefts were connected.
   Friday at about 9 p.m., an SUV, going north on Route 32, north of Paxson Road, and driven by Kathleen D. Findley, 53, of Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, lost control on the icy road, hit the guardrail and flipped over.
   The road had iced over from melting snow and re-freezing. The vehicle was towed.
   Saturday at 1:15 a.m., a vehicle going south on Route 32 near Phillips Mill didn’t make a curve in the road, continued straight, left the road, went up an embankment and crashed into a swimming pool.
   The driver, David J. Palling, 51, of Summit Ave., Upper Montclair, N.J., is being tested to see if alcohol may have played a part in the accident, police said.
   Two passengers were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Langhorne, Pa., for injuries — Brandon Wustman, 35, of Princeton and Elizabeth Beneventano, 35, of Medford, N.J.
   The vehicle was towed. There was heavy damage to the pool, police said.
