Businesswoman and volunteer
   
PLAINSBORO — Anna Soroka Zvir died Dec. 14 at home. She was 87.
   Born in Holyoke, Mass., she was a longtime resident of Floral Park, N.Y., and was a resident of Plainsboro for the past eight years.
   She was a businesswoman, entrepreneur and volunteer for many charities and nonprofit organizations.
   She was a devout Catholic.
   Wife of the late Myron Zvir, who died 28 years ago, she is survived by her daughters, Susan Giusto of Plainsboro, Deborah Morrissey of Columbus, Ohio, and Linda Arciuolo of Fox Chapel, Pa.; sisters Catherine Belghaus of Fair Lawn and Mary Moran of Bethpage, N.Y.; first cousin Jennifer Chuppe of New York City; sister-in-law Irene Soroka of Commack, N.Y.; grandchildren Kate, Clifford, Laura, Todd, Joseph and Sarah; and many nieces and nephews.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars.
   Arrangements were by A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury.

MONTGOMERY — Cleo M. Atchley died Tuesday at the Merwick Rehab Hospital & Nursing Care. She was 87.
   Born in McConnelsburg, Pa., she had resided in the Harbourton area for 30 years before moving to Montgomery.
   She was a cook at the Pennington Quality Market and formerly at the Hill House in Pennington.
   Daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude Strate Houck, she is survived by her husband, Clarence L. Atchley; daughters and sons-in-law Shirley and Richard Goudie of Rhode Island, Peggy and Bob Kennedy of Hillsborough and Carla and Bill Borden of Harbourton; brother Jack Houck; sisters and brother-in-law Ester and Charles Atchley, Olive McQuait and Betty Miller; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington, with the Rev. William Shaub officiating.
   Burial will be in Harbourton Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Sister lives in Plainsboro
   
HIGHTSTOWN — Veronica L. "Gidget" Becker died Tuesday at home. She was 49.
   Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong resident of Hightstown.
   She was a graduate of the Burlington County Special Services High School.
   She was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.
   She enjoyed bowling and had won several Special Olympics medals.
   Daughter of the late Jerome L. Jr. and Rose V. Becker, sister of the late Larry Becker, sister-in-law of the late Buddy Nachtman, she is survived by a brother, Dennis M. Becker of Hightstown; sisters and brothers-in-law Patricia and Gerald Hullfish of Plainsboro, Barbara and Frank Ficarro of Hightstown, Jeri and Jay Stanford of Bordentown, and Teri Nachtman of Roosevelt; aunts and uncles John and Joan O’Rourke, Margaret O’Rourke, Mary Ruth Kelley, Elizabeth Emens and Claire Kutch; nieces and nephews Matthew and Susan Hullfish, Patrick Hullfish and Tessa Ashton, Andrea Ficarro and Jerome Cupples, Larry Ficarro, Alita Ficarro, Joshua and Tara Inskeep, Devin and Nadia Inskeep, Rebecca and Jay Swanson, Eric Nachtman and Jeanette Pavia, and Tiernan Nachtman; great-niece Bianca Ficarro; and great-nephew Brendan Swanson.
   The funeral will be private.
