Helen Barber
HIGHTSTOWN Helen Barber, 88, died Dec. 22 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Clymer, Pa., she lived in the Hightstown area for more than 60 years.
She was a former lace threader at the Native Lace Mill in Hightstown and worked part-time for Stanley Hardware in Windsor.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Nymick; five brothers, Nicholas "Mickey," Steve, John Jr. "Scotty," George and Paul; and two sisters, Mary Danko and Margaret Davis.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Mary Barber of Hightstown; three grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Jack McNeil, of Orange Park, Fla., Catharine Olsen of Niskayuna, N.Y. and Timothy Barber of Hightstown; one great-grandson, Brendan McNeil; a brother, Pete Nymick of Homer City, Pa.; a sister, Elizabeth Yard of Windsor; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton Square.
Interment followed in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

Golob
LAWRENCE Dorothy Sackin Golob, 83, died Saturday at Capital Health System Fuld Campus.
Born in Trenton, she was a graduate of Trenton Central High School and attended Rider College.
Mrs. Golob was employed in the family business for many years.
Daughter of the late Herman and Bessie Sackin and sister of the late Ernest Sackin, Ruth Kolman and Ethel Gross, she is survived by her husband, Jack Golob; a brother, Dr. Stanley Sackin of Lantana, Fla.; a nephew, Robert Kolman of Lockwood, Fla.; three nieces, Arlene Harris of East Windsor, Barbara Berger of Hopewell Township and Enid Reddick of Lexington, Mass.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services and burial were held Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House, 53 Walter St., Ewing, NJ 08628 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements were by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing Township.
Raymond L. Sohl
PLAINSBORO Raymond L. Sohl, 84, died Monday at the Pavilions at Forrestal.
Born in Princeton, he lived in Plainsboro all his life.
Mr. Sohl retired from the Plainsboro Post Office as postmaster in 1972 after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro and was a very active member of the Plainsboro Historical Society. Mr. Sohl also was a member of the Plainsboro Lions Club for 30 years and held many positions in the club.
Son of the late Harry L. and Florence Hellmann Sohl and brother of the late Clifford, Lester and Walter Sohl, he is survived by three nieces, Connie Sohl-Hopkins of Plainsboro, Marlee Maxwell of Cranbury and Susan Seip of Hightstown; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro, 500 Plainsboro Road, Plainsboro.
Interment will follow in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro, 500 Plainsboro Road, Plainsboro.
Arrangements are by the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury.
Dominic De Luca
TRENTON Dominic De Luca, 85, of Trenton died Tuesday at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
He was a lifelong Trenton resident.
Mr. De Luca was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He retired in 1980 after 34 years with the Trenton Fire Department. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2085, Bordentown. He was a New York Yankees fan and enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City.
Son of the late Domenico and Rose Caloiaro De Luca; husband of the late Jancie Ranone De Luca; brother of the late Joseph De Luca and Mary Marolda; he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas M. and Gail De Luca of Hamilton Township, and Don N. and Roseann De Luca of East Windsor; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Grayce De Luca of Levittown, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Emily De Luca of Mount Laurel; four grandchildren, Rick, Kate, Colleen, and Anthony De Luca; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at 7:45 a.m. Saturday at the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Saint Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
