Three Monroe fire departments were called to a home on Mayberry Avenue on Monday to respond to a call about a garage fire.
According to Fire Chief Joe Sensale, the cause is still under investigation, but it is believed to be an electrical fire.
Mr. Sensale said there was some smoke damage in the interior of the house, but most of the damage was contained to the garage. He said the two vehicles in the garage were damaged and there was charring on the exterior of the garage door.
