Antoinette DeBartolo

Mrs. DeBartolo, 80, of Milltown, formerly of North Brunswick, died Feb. 8 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Robert, died in 2003. Surviving are three sons, John F. of Neptune, Robert C. of Morristown and Thomas J. of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Lorraine Darwish of North Brunswick; a brother, James Pepitone of Edison; a brother-in-law, Joe DeBartolo of New Brunswick; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment was in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. A. Dolores Rotepel

Mrs. Rotepel, 73, of the Clearwater community in Spotswood, formerly of Edison, the Colonia section of Woodbridge and the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey, died Feb. 18 at home. Her husband, Henry V. Rotepel, died in 1970. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Weaver and Karen Ahern; a son, Kenneth Rotepel; three grandchildren; and several nieces. Services and interment were private.

Joan T. Nordling Carroll

Mrs. Carroll, 85, of South Amboy, died Feb. 13 in Briarwood Care Center, Morgan section of Sayreville. Her husband, John “Mike” Carroll, died in 1999. Surviving are a son, John V. Carroll of South Amboy; two daughters, Nora J. Heyer of Manasquan and Jeanne A. Carroll of South Amboy; two sisters, Claire Jacques of Edison and Jeanne Myslinski of Barnegat; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.

Josephine T. Marchesi

Mrs. Marchesi, 67, of Manalapan, died Feb. 25 at home. Born in Elizabeth, she had lived in Hillside and Sayreville before moving to Manalapan 25 years ago. A graduate of Seton Hall University, South Orange, Mrs. Marchesi was an elementary and high school teacher for 26 years, the last 16 years in the Old Bridge school system. She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Francis Marchesi; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Parmella of Monroe, and Gregory and Jennifer of Succasunna; three sisters, Judith Innamorato of Colonia, Mary Ann Listwan of Edison, and Rita Cocuzza of Wyomissing, Pa.; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Gabriel’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro. The Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements. Frederick P. Moretti

Mr. Moretti, 69, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, formerly of Woodbridge, died Feb. 12 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Prior to his retirement in 1998, he was employed as a tool and die maker with Schoen Tool Co., Old Bridge. After that, he worked for Lockwood Boat Works, Morgan. A son, Peter Morette, died in 1991. Surviving are his wife, Norma Hastie Moretti; a son, Frederick P. Morette of Middletown; a daughter, Darlene Balboa of Lebanon Township; and four grandchildren.
