Area residents to star in ‘Rocky Horror Show’

Villagers Theatre, 415 Demott Lane, Somerset, will present “The Rocky Horror Show,” a tribute to the film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” March 3-26. Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. There will be a special midnight performance on March 24.

Kevin Dittman of North Brunswick will portray Dr. Frank-N-Furter. The play will feature musical numbers like “Sweet Transvestite” and “Time Warp.” The musical numbers are helped along by the Phantoms, including local talent Jaime Kimberlin of the Dayton section of South Brunswick as Dance Captain, Amy Levine of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, and Nancy Takacs of North Brunswick. The role of the narrator is played by Thomas McNeill, Woodbridge.

General admission tickets are $18, and $16 for seniors/students with proper ID.
