Volunteers sought for emergency drill

The Jackson Office of Emergency Management, in conjunction with Six Flags Great Adventure, will hold an emergency drill on March 11.

The drill will include the Jackson Police Department, fire department, first aid, MONOC paramedics, and various other agencies. Volunteers will be needed to simulate “victims.”

All participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent. Five hours of community service certificates will be awarded to any participants who need to complete community service hours.

JTMUA sets meetings

The Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority will hold its public meetings at 7 p.m. in its administrative offices at 135 Manhattan St., Jackson, on the following dates: March 23, April 27, May 25, June 22, July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 30, Dec. 28 and Jan., 25 and Feb. 1. All meetings will be public.
