March, rally on Saturday to mark anniversary of invasion

The Princeton-based Coalition for Peace Action and its chapters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are sponsoring a regional march and rallies in Trenton and Morrisville, Pa., on Saturday in conjunction with the third anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
The event will begin with a gathering in the parking lot of the Hughes Justice Complex off Warren Street in Trenton, starting at 1:45 p.m., for a march that will begin at 2 p.m. Those coming from Princeton can carpool from the Princeton Shopping Center’s Eckerd Drug side at 1 p.m.
The march will go about seven blocks to First Baptist Church, 128 Centre St. in Trenton, where the rally will be held for about one hour, followed by a march over the "Trenton Makes" bridge to a second rally at Williamson Park in Morrisville.
While going over the bridge, drums will beat solemnly while flowers are dropped into the Delaware in mourning for the victims of the war, as well as murder victims in Trenton last year.
At the conclusion of the second rally, participants will march back over the bridge to their cars. The entire event is expected to conclude by 5 p.m.
