Missing girl turning 18, and hopes rise she’ll call in

Danielle Nottingham, of Princeton Township, has been classified as a missing person for almost three years

Saturday will be Danielle Nottingham’s 18th birthday and her family and the Princeton Township Police are hoping she will mark the important milestone by letting them know she is well.
Danielle, a former Princeton Township resident, has been classified as a missing person for more than three years.
Police point out that when Danielle reaches 18 on Saturday she is legally an adult and has no obligation to live at home and cannot be placed against her will in a residential facility. Her family and police hope that because of her adult status, Danielle will no longer be concerned about the consequences of making contact and reach out to her mother, uncle and sisters to let them know she is OK.
Family members also hope that Danielle’s friends in Mercer and Camden counties who may know her whereabouts will come forward, knowing that there will be no negative consequences for her.
Danielle, who is black, has brown eyes and was 5 feet 6 inches tall when last seen and weighed about 165 pounds. She wore braces on her teeth and had shoulder-length dark brown hair. She has a scar on her back, pierced ears and is known to have attempted to change her appearance. She may use the last name of Spivey and her nickname is Dani.
With proper confirmation from Danielle, police say they can conclude the missing-person investigation. Until then, police will continue the search for Danielle, with the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Contact can be made with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at (800) 843-5678 or Detective Annette Henderson at (609) 921-2100, ext. 818. A message can also be left on the police department’s Confidential Tip Line voicemail system, (609) 688-2049.
