Bridgewater residents Kyle Fletcher, 18, and Jenna Rutkowski, 18, were charged with underage possession of alcohol at 9:38 p.m. March 27 while standing on South Main Street.
Police said when they arrived at the scene, Mr. Fletcher threw a can of beer down after seeing police officers but was later found with having more beer cans in his pockets, police said. Police said Ms. Rutkowski also had a can of beer in her pocket.
They were transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail each.

At 9:13 a.m. March 29 Alfred Nowak Jr., 41, of North Weiss Street was charged with leaving the scene of a n accident hit-and-run accident after a five-car collision on South Main Street.
Police said the accident occurred near Haran Avenue at 7:54 a.m.
Two victims reported neck pain but refused medical attention.
Mr. Nowak fled the scene but was later found and charged with 16 motor vehicle violations, police said.
Police said when they arrived at Mr. Nowak’s residence at 12:30 p.m. to question him about the earlier accident, he was found in possession of a hypodermic needle and charged with possession of paraphernalia.
Mr. Nowak was processed and released pending a court date.

Sherry Utrecht, 43, of Hillsborough was charged with disorderly conduct at 9:42 p.m. March 29 inside the Quick Chek store on Brooks Boulevard.
Police said Ms. Utrecht was intoxicated and sleeping in a booth inside the store. When police woke her up to get her to a safe location, Ms. Utrecht started yelling and screaming at the officers.
She was transported to headquarters, processed and transported to Somerset Medical Center.

Bound Brook resident Charles Hupfer, 49, was charged with DWI after he was stopped for careless driving on Brooks Boulevard at 11:46 p.m. March 29.
Mr. Hupfer was transported to headquarters, processed and released. His vehicle was impounded.

At 1:03 a.m. March 30, Dominic E. Rice, 24, of Garry Street was charged with being an unlicensed driver and driving without insurance after he was stopped on Garry Street, police said.
Mr. Rice was transported to headquarters, processed and released. His vehicle was impounded.

South Main Street resident Ricardo Gonzalez, 34, was charged with two counts of simple assault and resisting arrest at 10:39 p.m. March 30.
Police said Mr. Gonzalez harassed a Rabens Avenue resident, demanding to speak with her husband. When police arrived at the scene and spoke with Mr. Gonzalez, he told police officers he wanted to confront a man over a past issue.
Police said Mr. Gonzalez was at the wrong house. Officers took him into custody after he refused to leave; he hit two police officers as they took him into custody.
He was transported to headquarters, processed and transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of $8,000 cash only bail.

At 1:58 a.m. March 31, Thomas R. Vanpelt II, 35, of Pennsylvania was charged with DWI after being stopped on West Camplain Road for failure to maintain lanes.
Mr. Vanpelt was transported to headquarters, processed and released. His car was impounded.

North Sixth Street residents Luis A. Ramirez-Fernandez, 49, and Juan Carlos Murillo Anguilo, 26, were charged with simple assault at 9:27 p.m. April 1.
Police said they were fighting in front of their apartment building.
Mr. Ramirez-Fernandez was taken to Somerset Medical Center for a facial injury.
Both men were given summonses for court appearances and released.

At 6:14 a.m. April 2, two men police were unable to identify were charged with disorderly conduct and drinking in public.
A Washington Avenue resident reported two men drinking in her backyard, police said.
The two men were not identified due to a language barrier and not possessing any identification.
They were transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
