At 3:43 p.m. April 3, a 12-year-old Huff Avenue boy received summonses for riding an unregistered and uninsured ATV, riding an ATV on private property and riding an ATV under the age of 14 after he was stopped by police in the rail yard near Huff Avenue.
The ATV was towed, and the boy was turned over to his parents.

Toni M. Lance, 32, of South Reading Street was charged with three counts of simple assault, two counts of criminal mischief and obstruction of justice at 2:43 a.m. April 4.
Police said Louise Drive resident Lisa Boock was stopped by police on Roosevelt Avenue after police noticed all of the tires on her car were flat. According to police, Ms. Book struck the median on Route 206 in Somerville.
Ms. Lance, the passenger, attempted to break car windows and was hitting the police officers after officers stopped Ms. Boock.
Ms. Lance was transported to headquarters, processed and transported to Somerset County Jail in lieu of $9,000 bail.
No charges were filed against Ms. Boock in Manville.

Hillsborough resident Nandini S. Shet, 26, was charged with third-degree bad checks and theft by deception at 8:18 p.m. April 4.
According to police, Ms. Shet passed $1,635.19 worth of bad checks at the A&P on North Main Street in order to purchase numerous gift cards on separate occasions while in the store.
Ms. Shet was transported to headquarters, processed and released pending a Somerset state Superior Court appearance.

Angle Avenue resident Valerie Hodle, 18, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor at 2:45 a.m. April 8 outside of Fire Company No. 3 on North Eighth Avenue.
Police found Ms. Hodle unconscious in front of the firehouse.
She was transported to headquarters, processed and released.
