Roy A. Pohlman, 59, of South Brunswick died Monday, April 3, in Franklin.
Born in Jersey City, he was a resident of South Brunswick since 1981. He was a self-employed landscape architect, owning the Lawn Mist Co. for more than 20 years. He enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Dorothy L. (Eckenrod) Pohlman; a son, Paul of Florida; four daughters, Brenda Bleacher of South Brunswick, Carmela Paris of Pennsylvania, Jennifer Pohlman of Pennsylvania and Belinda Pohlman of Carteret; a brother, Gary of Texas; five sisters, Fern Profilus and Faye Wreck, both of Edison, Mary Carol McCannon of Texas, Jeanine Pennzano of Toms River and Dale Muir of Somerville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Thursday, April 6, at Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home, 152 North Main St., Milltown. The funeral service was held Friday, April 7, at the funeral home. Final disposition was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Crossroads Assembly of God Church, 19 Main St., Englishtown, N.J. 07726 would be appreciated.
