Katherine Meyer

   Katherine Francis (McGovern) Meyer, 63, of Monroe, died at her home on Sunday, April 9.
   Born and raised in New York City, she lived for many years in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick and Franklin Park before settling in Monroe three years ago. She retired last year after more than 25 years with Franklin Convalescent Center, Franklin Park, where she was a secretary and certified nurse’s aide.
   She was a longtime parishioner of St. Augustine’s R.C. Church in Kendall Park and a member of Monroe Township Seniors. She was deeply dedicated to her grandchildren and her brother-in-law, and she will be dearly missed by all.
   She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Bell, Susan Jones and Dorothy Meyer; eight grandchildren, Crystal, William and Elizabeth Jones, Patrick Meyer, Zachary Carson, William Varga Jr., and Samantha and Devin Bell; and a brother-in-law, John Dillon.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 12, at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood. Interment followed in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
   Friends and family called Tuesday, April 11, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations for the college tuition of her grandchildren to be made to the family.
