Randal Pinkett, Ph.D., MBA, the recent winner on Donald Trump’s television show "The Apprentice," will serve as keynote speaker at the annual "Soul to Soul: Health Is a Family Affair: It’s Never Too Early, It’s Never Too Late," which will take place Saturday, April 29, at the Hyatt Regency Princeton in West Windsor.
The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. with registration and "Ask the Doctor" presentation sessions.
Mr. Pinkett’s presentation will address the importance of family support to maintain physical, emotional and financial health, as well as the importance of dedication and responsibility to self, family and community to implement healthy life choices. Mr. Pinkett’s discussion will also take a very personal look at how his family’s support affected him throughout his life.
Additional highlights of the evening include a panel discussion conducted by physicians and health professionals from Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) that will cover mental health, nutrition, exercise and high blood pressure a significant health threat, with a strong prevalence among African Americans.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Rameck R. Hunt, a board-certified internist on staff at PHCS and New York Times best-selling author. Dr. Hunt captured national literary praise for his books "We Beat the Street" and "The Pact."
The panelists will include:
Dr. Michael C. Ruddy, board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology and a member of the Medical & Dental Staff of Princeton HealthCare System;
Nathalie Edmond, Psy.D., clinical coordinator at Mount Lucas Site, Princeton House Behavioral Health;
Paulina Duker, M.PH., clinical analyst, Performance Improvement, University Medical Center at Princeton, and
Val Brunetti, group fitness trainer, Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center.
PHCS President and CEO Barry Rabner will offer welcoming remarks; Dr. Henry Davison Jr., "Soul to Soul" co-chair, a board-certified surgeon and past president of the Medical & Dental Staff of Princeton HealthCare System, will give introductory remarks, and the Rev. Muriel Burrows of the Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church will offer a blessing.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey, Mr. Pinkett firmly believes that "to whom much is given, much is expected," so throughout his endeavors, he places great emphasis on his desire to give back to the community.
