Katz re-elected in West Windsor; Fleres, Gharpure capture Plainsboro seats
The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District’s 2006-2007 budget of $141.1 million was approved Tuesday by a vote of 1,275-1,037.
The budget won approval in West Windsor by a vote of 835-735 and in Plainsboro by a vote of 440-302.
Incumbent Stan Katz won re-election to a West Windsor seat on the Board of Education, defeating challenger Brett Boal by a vote of 988-465.
In the race for two Plainsboro seats on the board, Anthony Fleres and Anjani Gharpure were elected with 398 and 385 votes, respectively. Christopher Pordon finished third with 320 votes, and Neal Phenes trailed with 190 votes.
