MANVILLE Edward J. Hart died April 11 at home. He was 78.
He was born in Jenkins Township, Pa., and lived in Manville for the past 49 years. He was a former resident of Larksville, Pa.
He served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Hart worked as a Lab Technician for Union-Carbide Corporation in Bound Brook for 42 years before retiring in 1990.
He was a communicant of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Hart: and a brother, Leo Hart.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores S. Hart of Manville; three sons, John of Montebello, N.Y., Thomas of Branchburg and Kevin of Hillsborough; two daughters, Terry Hart-Fegley of Branchburg and Maureen O’Reilly of Hillsborough; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral was held April 18 from the Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville followed by a Mass at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. Entombment was in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum in Piscataway.
