MANVILLE Mitchell M. Kurlnzi Sr. died April 10 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 67.
He was born in Elizabeth and was a lifelong resident of Manville.
Mr. Kurinzi worked as a supervisor at Johns-Manville Corporation in Manville for over 25 years before retiring. He was a member of the Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club.
He served his country as a member of the U. S. Marine Corps.
He was a communicant of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
His wife, Phyllis Kurinzi, died in 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Mitchell M. Jr. and Kenneth of Manville; three daughters, Michelle Farkas and Judy Kehres of Manville and Kelly Archibald of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service was held April 14 from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville. Internment was private.
