Stephanie B. Proneski
   BORDENTOWN — Stephanie B. Proneski died Sunday.
   Daughter of the late Stanislaw and Apolozia Brodowicz, she was born in Trenton and had been a resident of Bordentown for 23 years.
   Mrs. Proneski worked at Westinghouse for 35 years and was a former parishioner of St. Hedwig’s Church, Trenton.
   An auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary, she was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Bordentown.
   Mrs. Proneski was the wife of the late Stanley Proneski and the sister of the late Leopold Brodowicz and Marianne Brodowicz.
   Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Leroy Koller of Hamilton Township and Marlene and David Thompson of Bordentown; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ruthann Proniewski of Bordentown; four grandsons, David Thompson Jr. of New York City, Matthew Thompson of Orlando, Fla., Richard J. Proniewski and Christopher Proniewski of Bordentown; her sister, Helen Sears of Collingswood; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Florence Brodowicz of Bordentown, and Walter and Audra Brodowicz of Waynesboro, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Helen Lewanowicz of Trenton and Elizabeth Brodowicz of Hamilton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Trenton. The Rev. Michael J. Burns officiated.

Catherine D. Saams
   BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Catherine D. Saams, 82, died Saturday at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
   Born in Tamaqua, Pa., she had been a resident of Bordentown for more than 52 years.
   Mrs. Saams is survived by her husband, Richard J. Saams; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carla W. Saams of Bordentown City, Dawn R. and Michael Maltba of Valdese, N.C., and Sharon S. and Donald Fillinger of Bordentown Township; a son and daughter-in-law, John R. and Joy Saams of Gambrills, Md.; 12 grandchildren, Brian Tomko and his wife Anya, Richard Tomko and his wife Kara, Michael Tomko, John R. Hardesky and his wife Jenne, Sherri Nutt and her husband Richard, Bradley S. Hardesky and his fiancee Joanna, Kelly Fillinger, Jack Saams, James Saams, and Julia Saams; and 13 great-grandchildren.
   The funeral was held Tuesday at Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown. Interment was private.
   Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Helen VonThaden
   FLORENCE — Helen M. VonThaden, 78, of Florence died Friday at the Lutheran Home in Moorestown.
   Born in Glendale, Queens, N.Y., she had been a resident of Florence for 56 years.
   Mrs. VonThaden, a homemaker, had been a hostess at Florence Diner and a proofreader at McGraw-Hill.
   She was a member and former vice president of the John A. Roebling Senior Citizens Club, and a former member of the Florence Township Library Board.
   Surviving are her husband, William VonThaden; a daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Gary Ross of Yardley, Pa.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Karen VonThaden of Haddonfield and William VonThaden of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandchildren, John VonThaden, Lynn VonThaden and Renee Ross.
   A private funeral was held Monday at Dennison Funeral Home, Florence, followed by burial in Columbus Cemetery. The Rev. Stephanie Steel officiated.

Helen McDaniel
   TRENTON — Helen Karaffa McDaniel, 90, died Friday at Lawrenceville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
   Born in Trenton and a lifelong area resident, she had worked at John A. Roebling & Sons for many years. Mrs. McDaniel retired from the State of New Jersey CETA.
   She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church.
   Mrs. McDaniel was the wife of the late Charles McDaniel, daughter of the late John and Mary Matyi Karaffa, and sister of the late John, Michael, Nicholas, Peter and Anna Karaffa and Margaret Cook.
   Surviving are her brother, George Karaffa of Parlin; her sisters, Dorothy Linzer of Columbus, Ohio and Loretta Newman of Bordentown; her stepchildren and their spouses, Richard and Patty McDaniel of Lambertville, Gerri and Charles Mattey of Columbus and Arlene and Frank Barlow of Flemington; and many nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was Tuesday at Kutch Funeral Home, Trenton. Office of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, officiated by the Rev. Gregory J. Noga. Burial was in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery No. 2, Hamilton.

Angela Leonardi
   TRENTON — Angela Irene Proietti Leonardi, 75, died April 20.
   Born in Trenton and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Nazzareno and Antonia Cola Proietti and the sister of the late Frank Proietti and Leonard Proietti.
   Mrs. Leonardi worked for Stanley Home Products and St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim Church, Trenton.
   Wife of the late Emanuele Leonardi, she is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Reno and Catherine Proietti of Hamilton Square and George and Anna Proietti of Staten Island, N.Y.; three sisters-in-law, Nancy Proietti and Jane Proietti of Roebling and Sister Guiseppina Leonardi of Montefiscone, Italy; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her caregiver and good friend, Helen Bell.
   The funeral was Monday at Gruerio Funeral Home, Trenton, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at OLA Parish-St. Joachim Church. Entombment was in St. Anthony’s Patio-St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton Township.
   Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Irma E. Horn
   MOORESTOWN — Irma E. Horn, 91, died April 19 at the Lutheran Home of Moorestown.
   Born and raised in Florence, daughter of the late William and Annie Campbell Horn, she had resided in Collingswood, Audubon and Delran before moving to Moorestown seven years ago.
   After 40 years of service, Ms. Horn retired from U.S. Pipe Company in Burlington where she had been a private secretary.
   A founder of First Wesleyan Church in Florence, and a former member of First Baptist Church of Willingboro, she was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Maple Shade. Ms. Horn supported many missionaries over the years.
   She was the sister of the late Evelyn Scott and William C. Horn; and the dear friend and companion of the late Lida Macrae.
   Surviving are nieces and nephews, Roger Horn of Ohio, John W. Scott of Florence, Anna Frazier of Cherry Hill, Edith Henry of Burlington Township, Irma Gauntt of Lumberton, Donna Cuthbert of Burlington City, and Evelyn Jane Gurak of Birmingham, Ala; and a dear friend, JoAnne Blue of Hernando, Miss.
   The funeral was held Friday at Dennison Funeral Home, Florence, followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence.
   Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, Main and Poplar streets, Maple Shade, NJ 08052; or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
John Grauser
   BORDENTOWN — John G. Grauser, 69, of Bordentown Township died April 17 at home.
   Born in Trenton, son of the late John G. and Edna Grauser, Mr. Grauser spent most of his life in Bordentown Township. He had also lived in Arizona where he had had a business.
   Recently retired from Lawrence Lincoln-Mercury, Mr. Grauser had previously been a self-employed contractor for Bell Telephone for many years.
   He enjoyed boating and fishing and was a former member of the New Jersey Brittany Club where he trained and showed champion gun dogs. He was a member of the NRA.
   Mr. Grauser is survived by his wife, Patricia West Grauser; a sister, Joan Lanter of Arizona; seven daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda Peloke of Fla., Marylou Kalman of N.H., Andrea and Steven Pesce of Hamilton Township, Ena and Bruce Ysseldyk of Fla., Samantha Fischer and Trisha Ambrose, both of Bordentown, and Georgian Robbins of Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
   Interment was private.
   Arrangements were by Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
Mayme Hunt
   HORNERSTOWN — Mayme Hunt, 86, formerly of Hamilton Township and Bordentown, died April 17 at the Hornerstown home of her granddaughter, Nicole Howell.
   She had been a purchasing agent for Sterling Drugs of Trenton.
   Mrs. Hunt was the wife of the late Edmund B. Hunt; and sister of the late John and Michael Padulchick and Ann Lowa.
   Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, E. James and Janet L. Hunt of Jobstown; a daughter, Jackie Horner of New Brighton, Minn. and Monty Horner of Cream Ridge; five grandchildren, Lt. James Hunt and his wife Laura of Holloman AFB, N.M., Alicia Hunt of Jobstown, Nicole Howell and her husband Jim of Hornerstown, Dina Gayle and her husband Harley of New Brighton, N.M., and Scott Horner and his wife Robin of Edgemore, S.C.; and six great-grandchildren.
   Services were private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.

Albert Foxall III
   CHESTERFIELD — Albert E. Foxall III, 30, of Chesterfield died April 13 in Belleville.
   Born in Brunswick, Ga., he lived most of his life in the Chesterfield/Mt. Holly area.
   Mr. Foxall had been an honor student at Lumberton Middle School. He was an accomplished wrestler and hockey player in the Willingboro area.
   Surviving are his mother, Nanette Palyok and husband, George, of Chesterfield; his father, Albert E. Foxall Jr. and significant other, Peggy Gellasch, of Lumberton; a brother, Harley Palyok of Chesterfield; a sister, Anne Foxall of Dunedin, Fla.; his maternal grandmother, Alice Nowicki of Columbus; and a niece, Margaret Gulik of Dunedin.
   A memorial service was held Friday at Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel.
