Mother’s Day gives caring members of the community an opportunity to bring some joy to the homeless mothers and children that HomeFront serves. To honor the special woman in your life, consider making a tax-deductible contribution in her name to HomeFront’s Mothers’ Fund.
Almost all of the homeless families HomeFront works with are headed by a single mother. Most work at minimum-wage jobs and are desperately trying to keep their family together. While they want the best for their children, they are financially unable to provide the money which would enable their children to even go on a school trip or buy their school pictures.
HomeFront has a specially designed card which they will send the woman being honored with the donor’s name on it. And the funds raised will be used by homeless mothers for some small but very important "luxury" for their children.
