The Nassau Street repaving project is continuing the rest of this week with curb restoration between Witherspoon Street and Washington Road, Princeton Borough announced. This area will be vacated and in good shape for Saturday’s Communiversity celebration, borough officials stated.
The east-end restoration of Nassau Street will continue through next week. Due to the narrowness of Nassau Street in this area, parking will be eliminated on both sides of the street between Pine Street and Moran Avenue.
Curb and sidewalk installation will then proceed on the north side of Nassau Street from Moran Avenue to Harrison Street. When the north side is complete, installation of a curb on the south side of Nassau will begin.
Restoration of driveways will be deferred until all curbs have been set, borough officials said.
