May 1: Funny business and a serious note

   Two out of three ain’t bad.
   True, I’d have liked more, but given recent Mets history, that’s just being greedy. Suffice to say that this has been a great run so far.

   Grace Plater died recently. She was a remarkable woman who touched many lives here in South Brunswick. I don’t have much right now, but will pass it along when I get it.

   And I was watching the VH1 "VSPOT Top Twenty Countdown" (yes, I watch it occasionally to see what’s new and popular; I’m into some obscure stuff, but I’m no snob), and I came across this guy Teddy Geiger. Sounds sort of like John Mayer. Not quite as interesting (Mayer is moderately interesting, I guess). So, is Geiger the new Mayer? And if so, then answer this question: Isn’t one John Mayer more than enough?
