Monmouth Medial Center, Long Branch, has announced Joseph Jaeger, associate vice president of academic affairs, has been appointed to the board of directors at the Alliance of Independent Medical Centers (AIAMC). The AIAMC’s members are academic medical centers and health systems committed to patient care, medical education and research. Jaeger is responsible for all medical education and research activities at Monmouth. He received his master’s degree in public health at Emory University, Atlanta, and is pursuing doctoral studies at Columbia University, New York City.

A resident of North Brunswick, Perlowitz received his bachelor of science degree in accounting at Syracuse (N.Y.) University. The Monmouth/Ocean Chapter of the New Jersey Association of Woman Business Owners (NJAWBO) has announced Dawn M. Nakash as its chapter winner of The Business Woman of the Year Award honoring a woman business owner that is a member and has distinguished herself in her business, NJAWBO, and the community. Nakash served two terms as vice president of marketing for the chapter, and serves as president-elect. She also co-chairs its holiday auction. Her community involvement includes the Georgian Court University Scholarship Fund, Diocese of Trenton, and Good News Ministry. She is the founder and president of Daybreak Marketing Services Inc., Jackson.
