Friday, May 5 American Legion Post 39 of Roebling will hold Shrimp Nite from 5 to 8 p.m., at the post home, 112 Fourth Ave., Roebling.
Potato salad, coleslaw, coffee and dessert included for $10. Meatball platters cost $7. Takeout orders will be available.
Open Space planting
Saturday, May 6 Help plant 150 tree seedlings as part of the reforestation of this new parkland in Bordentown City. Meet at the corner of Oliver Street and West Chestnut Street at 9 a.m.

Spring Farm Festival
Saturday, May 6 A family fun day will be held at Fernbrook Farm Environmental Education Center, 150 Georgetown Road, Bordentown, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Gardening talks, cooking demonstrations, a plant sale, hour tours, hay and pony rides, a pig roast, sheep shearing, blacksmith, bluegrass music, nature hikes, crafts, calf roping and more will be featured. Garage sales
Saturday, May 6 A neighborhood garage sale to benefit the Relay for Life event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Laurel Woods subdivision in New Egypt. Sales at several locations around the neighborhood are planned with a rain date of Sunday, May 7.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the drawings to begin at 7 p.m. The $6 admission fee includes one sheet of tickets and a door prize ticket. A 50/50 raffle is slated as well as a grand-prize raffle.
Additional tickets varying in price will also be sold. Food and desserts will be available. No one under 18 admitted.

Project Mom
