Frances C. Festa
Frances Convenio Festa, 96, of Lawrence died Monday at her daughter’s residence.
Born in Washington Township, Ms. Festa had resided in the Trenton area for most of her life.
She was a parishioner of St. James Church and a member of its Senior Citizens Club.
Ms. Festa was predeceased by her parents, John and Santa Convenio; her husband, Joseph Festa; her sons, Jerry and Benny Festa, and her sisters, Helen Dorio, Rose Springsteen, Josephine Edolo, Theresa Distefano, and Ann Rizzo.
She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law Christine Caraccio of Lawrence, Margaret Johnson of Lawrence, Millie and Bill Mahan of Ewing; two sons and daughters-in-law John and Ginny Festa of Ewing, Sonny and Gloria Festa of Washington Township; a brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Edith Convenio of Ewing; two sisters Jean McDowall of Whiting and Sue Puinno of Ewing; and many relatives.
The funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church, 29 E. Paul Ave., Trenton. Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

John J. Fox
John Joseph Fox, 77, died April 24 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in New York City, he had resided in Lawrence for 25 years.
Mr. Fox retired in 1990 as an account manager with MacMillen Publications of New York City.
He was a graduate of Manhattan College and received his masters of business administration degree. from New York University.
Son of the late John and Elizabeth Norton Fox, he is survived by a sister Mary Birkhofer and her husband, Martin H. Birkhofer; two nephews Martin J. and John Birkhofer; and a niece Mary Warchot.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday in Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops’ Drive in Lawrence.
Burial was in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
Arrangements are by Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrence.
Richard A. Furman
MANAHAWKIN Richard A. Furman, 57, died April 21 at his residence.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Furman was a graduate of Steinert High School, Class of 1966, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-71 aboard the USS Andrew Jackson.
He worked for RoseArt Technologies in Livingston.
Son of the late Harman Furman, he is survived by his mother, Helen Furman; three daughters and sons-in-law Michelle and Christopher Shelderfer of Woolwich, Christina and Dennis Olaff of Florence, and Jennifer and Scott Ullberg of Delran; a sister and brother-in-law Diane and Ronald Nusse of Lawrence; two brothers and sisters-in-law Thomas and Linda Furman Richmond, Va., and Gary and Barbara Furman of Manahawkin; and three grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday at the Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
