HILLSBOROUGH Nicholas J. Boris Jr. died April 30 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 18.
Born in Somerville, he was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough.
Mr. Boris worked for Pizza Brothers in Hillsborough and worked construction in New York City on Saturdays.
He was a senior at Hillsborough High School and was to attend Arizona State University in the fall where he was to study criminal justice.
While at Hillsborough High School, he played junior varsity soccer and track he also played CYO basketball and enjoyed playing golf.
In the summer of 2005 he was selected to go to the State Police Academy in Sea Girt and participated in a junior Boot Camp similar to what the New Jersey State Troopers have to learn.His sister, Colleen Boris, died in 1986.
Survivors include his parents, Nicholas and Colleen (Murphy) Boris of Hillsborough; a sister, Kelly Boris of Hillsborough; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Blodgett of Hillsborough; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass will begin at 10 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Church, Yorktown Road, Hillsborough. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, East Millstone.
