S.B. residents urged to say no to LI-1 zoning

If our elected officials in South Brunswick are sincerely attempting to slow development and keep down the number of children overwhelming our schools, why are we then reviewing a use variance to construct 16 townhouses next to the Monmouth Junction Fire Department in a light industrial (LI-1) zone? If we can’t legally keep residential development out of areas zoned residential, why would we open up areas to residential development that are not zoned residential?

This application will be reviewed at the Zoning Board meeting of May 18. I urge everyone to come out and tell our Zoning Board, for our sake, to just say no.
