Roger L. Bozowski, 69, of Dayton died Sunday, April 30, at his home.
Born in New Brunswick, he was a resident of Dayton for many years.
He was a longtime member of the Cranbury First Aid Squad. Mr. Bozowski retired from the Cranbury Post Office after 30 years of service where he served as Union Shop Steward. He worked at the Cranbury Pharmacy for over 40 years. He had been a baseball coach for the South Brunswick Athletic Association and very active with education in South Brunswick Township.
He was a longtime member of the St. Peter’s Church in New Brunswick. Mr. Bozowski enjoyed photography, train collecting, and all types of music.
The most important occupation in his life was being a husband, father and a grandfather.
His parents, Antonio and Amy Clayton Bozowski, and brothers, Stanley, David, Anthony and John Bozowski, are deceased. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Dey Bozowski; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy B. and Adam Siegler; two sons, Michael R. Bozowski and David A. Bozowski; his grandson, Joseph Roger Bozowski; his mother-in-law, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 4, at the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury, N.J.. A funeral mass was celebrated at the St. James R.C. Church, 36 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg, N.J. Cremation will follow in Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, N.J.
Relatives and friends called Wednesday, May 3, at the funeral home.
