Area attorney Richard H. Steen is to be installed as treasurer of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Thursday. He is on track to assume the presidency of the NJSBA in 2010.
A member of the NJSBA for 29 years, he is the founding chair of the dispute resolution section and was awarded by the Bar in 2002 for his efforts in drafting the Revised Uniform Arbitration Act, which was signed into law in July 2003.
Mr. Steen has more than 25 years experience in all aspects of construction law and resolution of complex construction disputes, and has served as an arbitrator in hundreds dispute proceedings.
The Lawrence resident is active within his community and with the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church. His law firm, Richard H. Steen LLC, is located in Princeton.
Pamela S. Goodwin, resident in Saul Ewing’s the Princeton office, was recognized for legal excellence by being listed in "The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers." Ms. Goodwin was selected for her environmental work. The publication features approximately 5,000 private practice lawyers from more than 90 national jurisdictions and covers 20 areas of corporate and commercial law.
Princeton attorney Hanan M. Isaacs has been selected for the second time by his peers to be included in "The Best Lawyers in America" in the specialty of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Isaacs’s office regularly handles complex domestic relations and employment cases, as well as other civil and criminal litigation matters. Inclusion in "Best Lawyers" is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey. The current edition is based on 1.6 million confidential evaluations by only the top attorneys in the country.

Dr. Eileen Kennedy-Moore has opened a clinical psychology practice at 601 Ewing St., Princeton. Dr. Kennedy-Moore works with both children and adults, helping them cope with stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, and adjustment to life transitions. She particularly enjoys working with mothers, both at-home and employed.
She is the author of a new book for children, "What About Me? Twelve Ways to Get Your Parents’ Attention Without Hitting Your Sister," and has also co-authored a book for parents. Dr. Kennedy-Moore and her husband have four children.

Hopewell resident Thomas A. Bracken, president and chief executive officer of Sun Bancorp Inc. of Vineland, has been named the recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2006 New Jersey Financial Services Champion of the Year Award. The award acknowledges his efforts to increase the availability of capital to small business owners. In 2005, under his direction, Sun National Bank provided small business owners throughout New Jersey with 112 SBA loans worth $18.4 million.
In addition to winning the state award, Mr. Bracken was also awarded the SBA’s Regional Financial Services Champion Award for SBA Region II, which encompasses New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Morgan Stanley’s Randall Jones, a financial advisor and certified financial planner practitioner in the Princeton office (Lawrence Township), has joined the firm’s exclusive Wealth Advisor Group. As such, Mr. Jones received advanced training to provide high net-worth clients premium advice and access to additional resources and services. He has been with Morgan Stanley since 2001.
Mr. Jones currently lives in Lawrenceville with his wife Deborah and daughter Savannah. He is active in Rotary International and was named Rotarian of the Year in 2004, and named a Paul Harris Fellow.

Mr. Pollard has been with Merrill Lynch for 36 years and is a senior partner of a six person team including financial advisors and senior client associates. The Pollard Team manages assets in excess of $1.8 billion for high net-worth individuals, foundations and corporations and is based in Merrill’s Plainsboro office.
A Princeton resident and an active member of the community, Mr. Pollard is currently serving as a board member of the Princeton HealthCare System Foundation.

Peter J. Ort, managing director in the hedge funds strategies group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Princeton, has been elected to serve on the state board of directors of Junior Achievement of New Jersey. His leadership in the business community will help ensure the future success of JA in New Jersey.
Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and free enterprise. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides various programs for students in grades K-12.
The Arc of New Jersey has announced that Hinkle & Fingles, Attorneys at Law is the major statewide sponsor for the Arc’s annual statewide walkathon. "Step Up For the Arc Walk 2006" is the fifth annual statewide walkathon of The Arc of New Jersey and its 20 local county chapters. Last year the event raised $594,000 to support programs and services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Princeton resident Mike Maguire recently graduated from the Dealer Candidate Academy of the National Automobile Dealers Association. This specialized training curriculum is designed to prepare dealer-successors and key management to operate a new-car or -truck dealership. Mr. Maguire plans to use the skills developed at his family-owned dealership in Bordentown.
Hamilton Jewelers announced the appointment of Donna Bouchard to the position of vice president, marketing and advertising. She will manage all aspects of the store’s branding, marketing, advertising and communications initiatives. Formerly director of marketing at Hamilton, she has held various management positions over her 20-year career in the retail industry. She has been with the Hamilton Jewelers since 2001.

BUSINESS COUNCIL
The Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Capital Region Convention and Visitors Bureau will mark the grand opening of their new facility on June 1 from 57 p.m. at 1A Quakerbridge Plaza Drive, Suite 2 in Mercerville.
In relocating, the chamber sought to choose a more central location to best accommodate the more than 1,250 members. Co-locating with the CVB affords the two agencies to continue to work closely on various initiatives.
In addition to food and beverages, the grand opening event will include live a radio broadcast by 97.5 The Hawk, a new members showcase, and the unveiling of the Arts and Business Council of Greater Trenton’s traveling gallery.

Princeton attorney Hanan M. Isaacs has been named to Princeton’s Coalition for Peace Action Board of Directors. The Coalition for Peace Action, founded in 1980, is a grassroots citizens organization which brings together people of all ages, backgrounds, professions, and political persuasions in support of global abolition of nuclear weapons, a peace economy, and a halt to weapons trafficking at home and abroad.
