Willard R. Ridner
Retired Kimble Funeral Home director
Willard R. Ridner died Monday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 71.
Born in Orange, he was a resident of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick for the past 30 years.
Mr. Ridner retired in 2003 from the Kimble Funeral Home in Princeton where he had been employed as a licensed funeral director for more than 25 years.
He served as a Navy corpsman from 1954 to 1958.
He was a graduate of McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City.
Husband of the late Anne C. Ridner, he is survived by daughter Judith Ridner of Allentown, Pa.; son William Ridner of Kendall Park; and sisters Catherine and Etta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Private interment will be in the Princeton Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kimble Funeral Home, Princeton.

Archie Monroe "Pete" Sharpless of Princeton died Saturday after a short illness. He was 77.
Born in Haddonfield, he retired after 25 years with the Haddonfield Board of Education, where he continued to work after moving to Princeton. He worked an additional eight years at Educational Testing Service in Lawrence.
Known as a conscientious, reliable person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, he enjoyed gardening and building an extensive collection of mint collectible cars in retirement.
The youngest of five boys born to the late Lewis and Mary Ellen Sharpless, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Florence O’Neal Sharpless; son and daughter-in-law Peter and Amy; brother James; granddaughters Sophia Grace and Serena Noelle; and step-daughters from a previous marriage Loretta Bruce, Toylene Person and Penelope Berringer.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church, 112 Witherspoon St., Princeton.
Interment will be at Princeton Cemetery.
Calling hour will begin at noon at the church.
Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
Anita M. Feldman
Former Montgomery resident
HIGHTSTOWN Anita M. "Nuzzi" Feldman died Saturday at home. She was 79.
Born in Hoboken, Mrs. Feldman was a longtime resident of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Montgomery Township and had been a Hightstown area resident for about seven years.
Mrs. Feldman was the vice president of Midlantic Container Co. of Central New Jersey and part-time manager of Pen-Lar Pharmacy in Lawrence for several years.
A member of the Lawrenceville Senior Citizens Club, she enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, bingo and playing the slot machines in Atlantic City.
Daughter of the late Ralph and Judith Nuzzi, wife of the late Arthur A. Feldman and sister of the late John Nuzzi, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan Marie and Ronald Rotolo of Hightstown; stepdaughter Ellen G. Feldman of Houston; stepson and daughter-in-law Peter and Roberta Feldman of Houston; brother Ralph Nuzzi of Long Island, N.Y.; granddaughter Morgan Feldman of Boston; nieces Judy Gordon of Long Island, N.Y., Donna Nuzzi and Lisa Bomben, both of Santa Clarita, Calif., Terry Baker and Nancy Feldman, both of Washington, D.C.; nephews Ralph Nuzzi Jr. of Long Island, N.Y., and John M. Nuzzi of Los Angeles; and godson and his wife Donald and Roseanne Vigliotti of Denville.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main St., Cranbury, with the Rev. Linda Carlson officiating.
Calling hour is 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Joseph C. Wasilewski
Chemical engineer, inventor
WEST WINDSOR Joseph C. Wasilewski died Saturday at home. He was 81.
Born in Shenandoah, Pa., he was an area resident since 1967.
A chemical engineer, inventor and teacher, he worked for American Instrument Co. in Washington and FMC in Plainsboro. He was founder of Windsor Applied Science Inc., holding five patents for chemical engineering instruments.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 636 of Princeton, American Chemical Society and the West Windsor Senior Center.
An Army veteran, he was a graduate of Penn State University.
Son of the late Charles and Wiktoria Wasilewski, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Donna Becker Wasilewski; son Charles J. Wasilewski of Basking Ridge; daughters Margaret M. Wasilewski of Indianapolis, Rose M. Gannon of Lansdale, Pa., and Mary T. Roberts of Wellesley, Mass.; sister Marie Lipinski of Livingston, N.Y.; and grandchildren Christopher, Monica, Susan, Joan Donna, Leigh and Ryan.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at Queenship of Mary Church, Plainsboro.
Burial will be today at St Casimir’s Cemetery, Shenandoah, Pa.
