+ Wellness Around The World, a food and wine event honoring people affected by cancer, will take place 6:30 p.m. May 25 at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel on Route 35. Many shore area restaurants will serve some of their favorite foods and wines from places around the world There will be live entertainment, prizes, auctions and raffles. Proceeds will benefit The Wellness Community, Northern Jersey Shore, a national organization with 25 wellness communities in the United States and abroad which provides free psychological and emotional support to people with cancer and their families and caregivers. + “Manga & Anime Mania” will be presented by the Brick Township Memorial High School Graphic Novel Society and Media Specialists at the Brick library, 301 Chambers Bridge Road, May 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Teens can bring their own art to display. The program will also include drawing tables for teens to create their own characters at the library, Manga items for sale, Dance Revolution music and COSPLAY (costumes and role playing).
