The Disabled Firefighters Fund and Sports Entertainment Group will sponsor a professional wrestling fundraiser beginning at 7:35 p.m. on June 3 at South River Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1451, 31 Reid St. Proceeds will benefit the firefighters fund.
The event will feature wrestler Lex Luger in his first-ever appearance in a Central Jersey wrestling ring. Also on the card will be Extreme Championship Wrestling stars Matt Hyson (“Spike Dudley”), John Mahoney, Danny Doring, Simon Diamond and Dawn Marie, the Equalizer and New Jack, and World Wrestling Entertainment’s Bastian Booger.
Tickets, which cost $30 for first and second rows ringside, $25 for third and fourth rows and $21 for row 5 and beyond, are available at Cuts Women, ShopRite Plaza, Washington and Ernston roads, Mr. Dee’s Hot Dogs, Johnson Lane and Ernston Road, and TJ’s Pizza, Bordentown Avenue and Cheesequake Road, all Parlin section of Sayreville; Minit Mart, Main Street, Sayreville, across from the post office; and Villaggio’s Pizza, Main Street, South River.
