Vendors sought for Freedom Fest

This year’s Freedom Fest will take place July 11-15 at the Upper Freehold Regional School grounds.

The event will feature rides by Amusements of America, games, food, live entertainment nightly, craft vendors and special events. Craft vendors interested in joining the Freedom Fest should contact David Joye at (609) 259-8299.

‘Cruise for Prevention’ June 28 in U.F.

The fourth annual “Cruise for Prevention” car show to benefit drug prevention programs in the school and community will be held 5-9 p.m. June 28 at Byron Johnson Recreation Park, Ellisdale Road, Upper Freehold.

The event will also feature live music provided by The Bent Fenders band, food, door prizes, trophies, 50/50 raffle, and games. All types of vehicles are welcome. For more information, call (609) 259-6019.

‘Movie in the Park’

June 29 in U.F.

The Friends of Upper Freehold will host a free “Movie in the Park” event at 8:30 p.m. June 29 (rain date, June 30) at Byron Johnson Park. The event is co-sponsored by the Upper Freehold Recreation Department. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Equine Expo June 3, 4

at Horse Park of N.J.

The 2006 New Jersey Equine Expo will be held June 3 and 4 at the Horse Park of New Jersey, Upper Freehold Township.

The expo will feature special educational displays, a petting farm, and other exhibits to help people learn about the equine industry in the Garden State.

The event is sponsored by the N.J. Department of Agriculture, N.J. Equine Advisory Board, and the Horse Park of New Jersey, and will take place in conjunction with the fourth annual Jersey Fresh Three-Day Event, featuring equestrians from the U.S., Canada, Great Britain and Australia. There will also be a vendor village with crafts, pet needs and tack, as well as a variety of foods and treats.
