Downed lines caused Constable School to begin relocating students.

Constable School was one of several buildings in Kendall Park that lost power for two and a half hours Friday morning, prompting officials to begin busing students to another school, according to the district Public Information Officer Rebecca Leonard.
A downed power line in Little Rocky Hill caused the outage at about 9:45 a.m., township Fire Marshal Alan Laird said.
A portion of the town from South and New roads to Route 518 lost power, Mr. Laird said.
He added that he did not know how many buildings lost power.
"We were at the mercy of PSE&G," Mr. Laird said, referring to the company that supplies gas and electricity to the township.
PSE&G representatives said this week that the company has no record of a power outage in that area on Friday.
Staff at the Constable School Began evacuating the approximately 400 students to nearby Cambridge School at about 11 a.m. when the power did not return, Ms. Leonard said. Constable does not have generators to provide emergency power, she said.
Two busloads of students had left for Cambridge by the time the power went back on at 12:10 p.m., Ms. Leonard said.Three more buses were about to depart.
Students returned to class by 12:30 p.m., she said.
