BUSINESS COUNCIL
   Steven M. Richman, a partner in the trial and international practice groups of Duane Morris’ Princeton office, has been appointed to the New Jersey District Export Council.
   The New Jersey District Export Council assists companies attempting to export their products through a combination of advisory services, trade promotion/education and networking opportunities statewide.

   Michael R. D’Agnes of East Brunswick, president and CEO of Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, was named chairman of the board of the New Jersey Hospital Association, a 115-member advocacy organization, headquartered in West Windsor.
ENGINEERING
   TBE Group, a full-service international consulting, design and engineering firm, has announced the promotion of John Lentini to assistant director. Mr. Lentini will continue in his role as senior project manager, overseeing subsurface utility engineering projects and business development efforts in TBE’s New York/New Jersey business unit operations. He is based in the Princeton office.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
   Robert G. Chirumbolo of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network office in Princeton has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The PFS credential recognizes CPAs with professional experience and expertise in financial planning.
   Mr. Chirumbolo resides in West Windsor with his wife and two sons.
HEALTH & MEDICINE
   The Board of the Home Care Association of New Jersey has appointed Sherl Brand to the newly formed position of president and CEO. She replaces the retiring Carol Kientz, who served as executive director of the statewide association for home care and hospice agencies. Most recently director of national accounts for Bayada Nurses in Parsippany, Ms. Brand is a long-time association board member and past president.

   Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton has announced the following promotions:
   Joyce M. Schwarz of Freehold has been named assistant vice president for special care services; Lambertville resident Chris Beckett has been named executive director, organization development; and Layne Gambol of Lawrenceville executive director of patient accounts.
   Additionally, James A. Kilmer Jr. was named executive director of radiology and ancillary services and Paul J. Pernice, executive director of finance.
LAW
   Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has announced that Lisa S. Presser has been named the new practice leader of the firm’s private client group. A resident in the firm’s Princeton office, she will work to continue the growth and integration of this practice area among the firm’s Princeton, Florham Park and Philadelphia offices. With the firm for 12 years, she was named partner in 1999.

   Fox Rothschild LLP welcomes Rohitha M. Jayasuriya as an associate in its corporate department, resident in the Princeton office. Mr. Jayasuriya’s practice focuses on intellectual property matters such as chemical, biotechnology and medical devices patent preparation and prosecution.

Barry D. Szaferman, managing partner of the law firm of Szaferman Lakind Blumstein Blader & Lehmann P.C., was sworn in as the Mercer County Trustee to the New Jersey Bar Association. A leader in the Mercer County Bar, he is past president of the association and of the Mercer County Bar Foundation.

   Business valuation appraiser Troy Ingham, with Management Planning Inc. of Princeton, has achieved Accredited Senior Appraiser status with the American Society of Appraisers.
