Poricy Park, Oak Hill Road, Middletown, will hold a summer walk program June 21 at 7:30 p.m. The program is free for members and $3 for all others, and no preregistration is required
Pond netting for children ages 7 and older (with a parent if younger than age 7) will be held June 25 at 1 p.m. A trained naturalists will guide attendees through the wonders of pond life and netting. The cost is $5.
A family fossil hunt will be held July 9 at 1 p.m., at a cost of $5 each. “Echoes of a Native American Fire Circle” will be held July 12 at 7:30 p.m. Attendees will sit around a camp fire and hear American Indian stories. The cost is $10 per family or $3 per person.
A wildflower hike will be offered July 19 at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $3 for nonmembers. “Rivers and Streams” will be held July 26 at 7:30 p.m. and will feature an easy hike to Poricy Pond. The cost is $3 for nonmembers. Murray Farmhouse will hold an open house July 30 at 1 p.m. Suggested donation is $3.
