EAST BRUNSWICK – A township police captain with 21 years experience has been invited to attend the FBI’s National Academy in Quantico, Va.
The academy, which offers enrollment by invitation only, serves to improve the administration of justice in police agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge and cooperation worldwide. The program is run four times a year with classes of 250 officers.
Capt. Robert Janzekovich will begin the 10-week training program in July. The program consists of intensive classroom study covering a wide range of law enforcement topics, as well as participation in a physical fitness program.
Janzekovich holds a bachelor’s degree in government and public administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a juris doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Throughout his career in East Brunswick, he has served in the patrol section, the investigative division and the administrative division, and has worked out of the Office of the Director of Public Safety. Janzekovich is currently the administrative division commander. He has also successfully completed the West Point Command and Leadership Program.
