Princeton Public Library offers "Stubby the Elephant"

"Stubby the Elephant" — a 30-minute interactive adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s "The Elephant’s Child" — will be presented by Youth Stages on Tuesday at the Princeton Public Library.
The performance, to begin at 10:30 a.m., will take place in the first-floor Community Room.
The program is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and their families. The performance will see the title character make his way through the jungle and preschoolers transformed into snakes, lions, giraffes and monkeys.
"Not only will children get to experience a work of classic literature, but ‘Stubby’ fits perfectly with our animal-themed summer reading club, Paws, Claws, Scales and Tails," said Youth Services Department Manager Jan Johnson in a prepared statement. "I think our youngest customers are going to love this performance."
