Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, announced that more than $10,000 has been raised through its “Skylights of Love” program, in which donors purchase inserts decorated with a translucent blue sky and cloud pattern to cover stark florescent lighting fixtures in hospital hallways and treatment areas.
Each panel is donated in memory of a loved one, or in gratitude to a nurse, staff member, or physician. Proceeds benefit the Bayshore Hospital Foundation which raises funds to support hospital improvement and expansion projects. A dedication ceremony was recently held at Ganz imaging pavilion to honor families who have donated skylights thus far.
