Panic Relief Inc., a nonprofit educational organization directed by Judy Schiffman, is offering an ongoing panic-attack recovery program every weekday, with sessions available from 11 a.m. to noon, noon to 1 p.m., 1-2 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. The program is for anyone with panic, anxiety and/or agoraphobia, and is designed to help individuals cope with their disorder(s). Jewish Family and Vocational Service (JFVS) of Middlesex County, Edison, is seeking volunteers for its “Chef for the Day” volunteer program at Elderday. Volunteers are needed to prepare lunch for the elderly members of JFVS’ social adult day program, located in Edison.
