Support group available for those with anxiety

Panic Relief Inc., a nonprofit educational organization directed by Judy Schiffman, is offering an ongoing panic-attack recovery program every weekday, with sessions available from 11 a.m. to noon, noon to 1 p.m., 1-2 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. The program is for anyone with panic, anxiety and/or agoraphobia, and is designed to help individuals cope with their disorder(s). Animal Rescue Force, East Brunswick, is seeking volunteers to work one Saturday or Sunday per month at the group’s adoption centers located at the Route 18 Flea Market, East Brunswick, and at the Englishtown Auction.

Responsibilities will include walking dogs, cleaning crates and talking to the public.

JFVS seeks volunteers for ‘Chef for the Day’

Jewish Family and Vocational Service (JFVS) of Middlesex County, Edison, is seeking volunteers for its “Chef for the Day” volunteer program at Elderday. Volunteers are needed to prepare lunch for the elderly members of JFVS’ social adult day program, located in Edison.
