BRIDGEWATER Helen M. Koslak died July 10 at Harborside Healthcare at Woodsedge in Bridgewater. She was 89.
Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of Manville for 81 years before moving to Bridgewater two years ago.
Mrs. Koslak was a seamstress for many years working at the Rock Sewing Company in Manville. She also worked for many years for Ortho Corporation in Raritan, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and the Manville Senior Citizens Organization in Manville.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Jean Vadimski, Pauline Lesinski and Mary Lipot; and two brothers, Frank "Sonny" Koslak and John Koslak.
Survivors include one brother, Chester Koslak of Manville; a sister, Louise Mazzariello of Manville; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held July 15 from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Burial was private.
