   Sandra A. Perpetua, 56, of Somerset, was charged with driving while intoxicated after an officer observed the gold 1963 Studebaker she was driving swerve across the center line on Hamilton Road at 10:34 p.m. July 24.
   The investigating officer detected the odor of alcohol while Ms. Perpetua and her husband, George B. Shields Jr., 49, of Somerset, were searching for their identification.
   Ms. Perpetua failed the field sobriety test: she and she and Mr. Shields were transported to the station. Ms. Perpetua was administered a Breathalyzer test and her blood alcohol level was determined to be 0.11.
   Ms. Perpetua was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right, while Mr. Shields — who was not intoxicated — was charged with allowing Ms. Perpetua to drive his vehicle while intoxicated.

Zetra Johnson, 26, of the Bronx, was charged with possession of marijuana after an officer observed him traveling in a vehicle without a seat belt on Route 206 at 8:26 p.m. July 16.
   The officer stopped the vehicle in the parking lot off Route 206, near Docherty Park, and observed what appeared to be two marijuana cigarettes in the passenger’s side door handle.
   Mr. Johnson said they were his.
   The officer also found a small bag containing what appeared to be marijuana and two packs of rolling papers in the center console, police said.
   Mr. Johnson was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, failure to wear a seat belt and possession of a controlled substance in a motor vehicle.

Joseph Francis Kaine, 19, of Haynes Court, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol after his mother called police because she found him unconscious in the bushes outside the house at 1:23 a.m. July 15.

Stanislaw Stepien, 61, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a police officer observed him speeding on Hamilton Road at 4:57 p.m. July 29.
   An officer tracked the 2004 silver Land Rover that Mr. Stepien was driving traveling at 62 mph in a 45 mph-zone.
   The officer detected the odor of alcohol and conducted a field sobriety test. He was transported to the police station and administered a Breathalyzer test. He was determined to have a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent.
   Mr. Stepien was charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Piotr Mielnicki, 23, of Triangle Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a police officer observed him speeding westbound on Camplain Road at 12:56 a.m. July 29.
   After following the vehicle until Mr. Mielnicki pulled into a driveway, the officer approached him and detected the odor of alcohol.
   Mr. Mielnicki failed the field sobriety test and was transported to the station.
   Mr. Mielnicki was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to Breathalyzer, and violation of a provisional license.

A Crickhollow Court resident reported $570 of goods stolen from his vehicle overnight July 18.
   The resident said he had parked the car in front of the residence with the doors locked, but found them unlocked the next morning.
   A number of items were missing from the center console including a $200 silver iPod, a $150 black radar detector, a $60 wallet, an $80 pair of sunglasses, a Commerce Bank banking card, a driver’s license and $80 in cash.

A builder reported $1,100 in lumber was stolen from a house under construction on Mack Drive in Country Classics overnight July 16.
   The builder had stacked 400 2×4-foot studs on the property — 50 on the front lawn and 350 just inside the house. They were gone the next morning.
   The builder said he saw some tire tracks that he didn’t believe to be from one of his trucks.
