Personnel actions taken Aug. 21

   On Aug. 21, the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education approved the following personnel actions, as recommended by Superintendent Judith Ferguson:
   —Acceptance of the resignation of Liza Hill, teacher at Toll Gate Grammar, effective July 31.
   —Acceptance of the resignation of Colleen Stahl, teacher at Hopewell Elementary School, effective Aug. 31.
   — Acceptance of the resignation of Tina Renga, guidance counselor at Central High School, effective July 3.
   — Appointment of Barbara Hannmann as a school psychologist at Central High School at the per diem salary of $440.00 (not to exceed $88,000), effective Sept. 1.
   —Appointment of Elane Gottschall as a teacher at Stony Brook Elementary School at the salary of $43,910, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Katie Schooley as a special education teacher at Stony Brook Elementary School at the salary of $43,910, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Colleen Smedley as a special education teacher at Toll Gate Grammar School at the salary of $45,403, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Eric Guise as a teacher at Central High School at the salary of $43,910, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Maria Joralemon as a special education teacher at Bear Tavern Elementary School at the salary of $62,559, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Diane Jones-Davidson as an itinerant school nurse at the salary of $48,543, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Patricia Fletcher as a teacher at Timberlane Middle School at the salary of $48,636, effective Sept.1. This position is a leave of absence replacement.
   — Appointment of Christina Lebbad as an elementary school teacher at Toll Gate Grammar School at the salary of $45,403, effective Sept. 1.
   — Appointment of Diane Brady as a secretary at Bear Tavern Elementary School at the salary of $33,234, effective Aug. 21, pending ratification of the HVSA CBA.
   — Appointment of Debbie Schlette as an elementary school teacher at Toll Gate Grammar School at the salary of $48,636, effective Sept. 1.
   —Appointment of Leonardo E. Perero as a Spanish teacher at Central High School and Timberlane Middle School at the salary of $43,910, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Kenneth Elpus, teacher at Central High School to reflect the attainment of master’s degree, $55,133, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Rebecca Elpus, teacher at Timberlane Middle School to reflect the attainment of master’s degree, $53,426, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Zhanna Riloff, teacher at Central High School to reflect the attainment of 30 credits beyond bachelor’s degree, $54,526, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Jane-Ellen Lennon, teacher at Toll Gate Grammar School, to $12,583, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Marilyn Winograd, teacher of the blind at Central High School, to $45,901, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Michael Porter, teacher at Central High School, to $64,576, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Jennifer Reese, teacher at Timberlane Middle School, to $25,090, effective Sept. 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Stephanie Davison, teacher at Bear Tavern Elementary School, to $36,577, effective Sept. 1.
   —Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Darren Lewan, vice principal at Timberlane Middle School, to $97,902 effective July 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Tana Smith, subject area supervisor for mathematics, to $93,823 effective July 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Anthony Suozzo, vice principal at Timberlane Middle School, to $97,902, effective July 1.
   —Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of David Tate, K-five supervisor of special education, to $94,823 (includes $1000 education stipend), effective July 1.
   — Adjustment to the 2006-2007 salary of Mary Yeomans, subject area supervisor for science, to $92,480 (includes $500 education stipend), effective July 1.
   —Granting of a family medical leave of absence to Claudia Scotti, teacher at Hopewell Elementary School, effective Sept.1.
   — Granting of a family medical leave of absence to Jill Lech, teacher at Toll Gate Grammar School, effective Sept. 1, and granting of a personal leave of absence to Ms. Lech, effective Sept. 19.
   —Granting of a family medical leave of absence to Tracy Nasuti, teacher at Timberlane Middle Schoo, effective Sept. 1.
