Brian J. Landry
   EAST WINDSOR — Brian J. Landry, 17, of East Windsor, formerly of Hoboken, died Sunday at home.
   He was a senior at Hightstown High School, where he played lacrosse, freshman football and was on the wrestling and debate teams. He also was a member of the Tri-State Lacrosse League.
   He is survived by his parents, Jill Ann and Glenn Johnston; sister Alysa; brother Brandon; maternal grandmother Jennifer Landry Daley; paternal grandmother Marianne Johnston; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
   A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church of Hoboken. Interment followed in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hightstown High School After-Prom Committee.
Evelyn Green Zittel
   MONROE — Evelyn Green Zittel, 76, died Saturday at her residence.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Zittel was a former resident of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and East Windsor. She was a member of the congregation Beth Chaim.
   Wife of the late Ted Zittel, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Robert Galpen of Plainsboro and Amy and Marc Rocca of Piscataway; sister Zelda Kornblatt of Monroe Township; and four grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin.
   The period of mourning was observed at the Galpen residence.
   Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing Township.
Eugenia Knicos
   HAMILTON — Eugenia (Jean) Knicos, 93, died in Alterra Clare Bridge of Hamilton on Aug. 25.
   Shortly after her birth in New York City in 1913, her parents, Stratos and Aristea Amditis, moved back to Limnos, Greece, where she was raised. She left Greece at the age of 14 and moved back to Brooklyn, N.Y., to live with her uncle and aunt, Nicholas and Mary Clidas. She lived in Ewing, Clearwater, Fla., and Hamilton Township.
   She was a member of the St. George Philoptochos Society, Daughters of Penelope and the Lemnian Society. She worked at the Towne House Restaurant and the Diana Luncheonette, both owned by her husband, and prepared pastries for the St. George Festivals.
   She was predeceased by her husband, Costas (Gus) Knicos and her sister, Georgia Conelias.
   She is survived by two sons and their wives, James Sandi Knicos of Hamilton and Steve and Irene Knicos of Yardville; four grandsons, Dean of Hamilton, Paul of Yardville, Michael and his wife, Karen, of Hamilton, and James and his wife, Jacqueline, of East Windsor; great-grandson Christopher of Hamilton; brother Demetrios Amditis and his wife, Despine, of Limnos, Greece; brother-in-law Peter Conelias of Bridgewater; nieces Aristea and Souli Amditis of Limnos; nephew and godson Stratos Amditis of Athens, Greece; niece Iris King and her husband, Paul, of Peapack-Gladstone; niece Alexia Conelias of Bridgewater; niece Ann Knicos of Astoria, N.Y.; niece Emily Carr and her husband, Dino, of Manhasset, N.Y.; niece Katina Andoniades; cousins Yolanda Clidas of New York, Jimmy and Ruth Clidas of Long Island, N.Y., Jimmy and Mary Tsiktaris of Staten Island, N.Y. and Angelo and Mary Paratheras of Lawrenceville.
   The funeral was held at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Hamilton.
   Funeral services were held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Hamilton. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Teresa Pagliaro
   SOUTH PLAINFIELD — Teresa Pagliaro, 94, died Aug. 19 at JFK Hospital, Edison.
   Born in Newark, she lived there for 43 years before moving to South Plainfield in 1954.
   Ms. Pagliaro retired in 1954 with over 45 years of service as an assembly line specialist with Lionel Trains, Hillside.
   Daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Marie Mancini Camino; wife of the late Benjamin Pagliaro; she is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Philip B. and Ann Pagliaro of East Windsor and Joseph R. and Carol Pagliaro of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother Edward Camino and his wife, Donna, of Beachwood; sister Louise Polizzotto of Toms River; grandchildren Philip C. Pagliaro and his wife, Amber, Joseph B. Pagliaro and his wife, Lori, Jason Pagliaro and his wife, Pamela, Ethan Pagliaro and Corrie Carswell and her husband, Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Daniel J. and Nicole B. Pagliaro and Grant A. Carswell; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was private. Arrangements were under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home.
Janette S. Brodsky
   CRANBURY — Janette S. Brodsky, 85, died Aug. 21 at The Elms, Cranbury.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Lincroft before moving to Cranbury more than a year ago.
   She was a switchboard operator at Middlesex County College, Edison, for 20 years before retiring in 1985.
   She was a former member of Shaarey Teflia Temple, Perth Amboy.
   She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Kate (Rubin) Polkowitz and the widow of J. George Brodsky, who died in 1997. She is survived by her sons, Ira and Joel, both of East Windsor; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
   Graveside services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
   Arrangements were made by the Crabiel Memorial Funeral Home, Hightstown.
